Great News!

I just spoke with Jason Talley of Talley.tv and http://talley.tumblr.com/ about bartering his web development and hosting capabilities to be used for the creation of a website to host my blog in exchange for me working on his computers.  I think it’s a great deal that we’d both benefit from.  I’m very excited; thanks Jason!

For those of you who aren’t yet aware of Pete Eyre and Ademo Freeman’s epic win over the felony wiretapping charges that Greenfield, MA was holding over their heads, here it is.  Watch and learn as the dynamic copblocking duo smashes this Nixon-era “crime”, which was purportedly put in place to keep the government from spying on it’s citizens.

Now, why Massachusetts is pursuing something like this again after such a brutal loss, I do not know.

Here’s the link for the second part, once your’e finished with the first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3FX18XBYbQ

So, I’m considering starting a “Human Right To Record Public Officials Day” event - (Name Pending)

Thoughts?

This is the kind of brainwashing propaganda that is going to get a lot of innocent people wrongfully arrested, assaulted, robbed and ultimately persecuted based on the irrational fear that is constantly perpetuated by governments and other power-hungry institutions.

Check out the following PDF - provided by the NYCLU at nyclu.org.  Documenting activities of institutions that operate on stolen money(taxes) is not a crime - in fact, it should be a common duty amongst the people to hold those institutions accountable for the actions they take.

Four years ago, Boston police officers arrested a man for videotaping them making an arrest in a public park.

They charged Simon Glik with felony wiretapping, disturbing the peace and aiding the escape of a prisoner – even though all he did was hold up a video camera – and the man they were arresting did not escape.

The Letter That Came In The Mail

A few days ago, my parents in FL received a letter in the mail from the Trial Court of Massachusetts District Court Department, stating that I needed to be present in court in Greenfield, MA, alleging that I unlawfully wiretapped a member of the Greenfield Police Department on May 20, 2011.  The charge is, as it is written in the letter, “WIRETAP, UNLAWFUL c272 §99(C)(1)”, which is a felony in Massachusetts.  The charge was filed on August 11, 2011.  It is August 21, 2011 and I am just now receiving the letter today from my parents.  The date of the arraignment is September 7, 2011.

I still do not know how Greenfield acquired my parents address back home; I can only speculate at this point.

The court has not stated how I have allegedly committed this offense, so I have nothing to go on at the moment, other than speculation.  Now, why Greenfield, MA is trying this again after they failed to convict my friends Pete Eyre and Ademo Freeman for the same “offense”, I do not know.  This could be to save face or to try and further make an example of one who tries to hold public officials accountable for their actions.  I do not understand their motives as I do not yet know who I’ve apparently hurt in the matter.

I plan to post on this blog daily, covering my own personal encounters with this situation as well as other relevant cases.  Stay tuned to this blog for updates.
